Blessing Banquet 2018
So much joy! Blessing Banquet is a giant Christmas party for families involved in Unlock Ministries mentoring programs. About 400 people come together at Christmas to enjoy fellowship, a great dinner, take pictures with Santa, and celebrate the great things the Lord is doing in these wonderful families. Thanks to the generosity of the Sydney Dickerson Foundation, Unlock was able to give a gift and an “Unlock Tribe” t-shirt to every child from our ministry who attended. Unlock is a mentoring ministry for at-risk children and their parents. We love partnering with beautiful people like the Matthews to share the love of Jesus with the kids in our community!
Rays of Hope
Dear Valerie,
We recently received the grant awarded to Rays of Hope Children’s Grief Centre, and we are honored to have been awarded monies from the Sydney Dickerson-Matthews Memorial Fund. The Sydney Dickerson-Matthews Fund has been generous to our operation and we are humbled by your strong belief in the good works we are doing. Each one of you plays a part in the Rays of Hope care because of your understanding of this incredible vocation.
Our purpose is to meet the unique needs of grieving children and adolescents. Your support will immediately serve those needs by allowing us to continue to offer kids of the Permian Basin no-charge classes, programs and summer camps.

We were deeply touched by reading your family’s story and the legacy that Sydney’s life continues to lead.
